Kauffman Tire Today: As of November 2007, Kauffman Tire has 47 retail stores, 11 wholesale distribution centers, 4 commercial tire centers, 1 Bandag retreading facility, and the e-commerce site Treadepot.com. Kauffman Tire offers daily delivery to customers out of all 11 wholesale centers , with a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles. Kauffman Tire's thorough knowledge of passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, specialty, OTR, industrial and commercial tires, and their network of retail stores and wholesale distribution centers, allows Kauffman Tire to respond quickly to its customers needs. Kauffman Tire History: In early 2003, Kauffman Tire opened its new 175,000 square foot warehouse distribution center, corporate office facility and a complete technical training center. Kauffman Tire was founded on its commitment to customer service. Kauffman Tire's 600 plus dedicated associates, continue to earn each customers business, through their commitment to outstanding performance. Continuing a family tradition, Kauffman Tire continues as a family owned and operated business.

In 1960 Harry and Eva's son John joined the company, after graduation from Ohio State University. In 1968 John assisted in the first major expansion, opening the company's wholesale division. In 1969 Harry Kauffman retired and promoted John to president of Kauffman Tire. In 1975 John moved the company's headquarters to Atlanta, Georgia, where it remains today. In 1984, Mark, a third generation of Kauffmans, joined the business. Mark, a graduate of the University of Georgia, is in charge of the overall daily operations of the entire company. In February 2000 he founded Treadepot.com, Kauffman Tire's e-commerce internet site.

In 1991, Tom Money, John's son-in law, joined Kauffman Tire to oversee the wholesale operations in Florida. Today, Tom oversees all 11 wholesale centers. Together, with over 600 dedicated associates John, Mark and Tom ensure that the over 71 years of care and commitment are experienced by every customer.
